With a decade of experience in all aspects of complex commercial litigation, Mr. Jacoby focused his career on advising small to medium sized businesses both in litigation matters and in all aspects of administrative compliance and employment relations.
Mr. Jacoby is a tireless advocate on behalf of his clients, advising them through the initial stages of a dispute, through trial, and on appeal. He has taken on powerful interests, including the State of Oregon, to vindicate his clients’ rights, all while being mindful of his clients’ business and budgetary needs.
Mr. Jacoby is licensed to practice in Oregon state courts, federal courts, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a graduate of Willamette University College of Law in Salem, Oregon, earning honors in legal research and writing. He earned his Bachelor of Arts at Portland State University. Prior to attending law school, and while he was working on his undergraduate degree, he was part owner of a coffee shop in St. Johns.
A Pacific Northwest native, Mr. Jacoby was born and raised in Bellingham, Washington. He has lived in Oregon for more than 15 years. In his spare time, he enjoys reading science fiction and fantasy novels, music, and embarrassing his two teen sons.
